Decoding of tables:

  1. Physical Location of Airstrip/Airport.
  2. Co-ordinates in Latitude and Longitude (Degrees, Minutes & Seconds).
  3. Dimensions of Runway (Length & Width).
  4. Runway Orientation Numbers (magnetic).
  5. Runway Surface (and Apron where available)
  6. Elevation of aerodrome Above Mean Sea Level (AMSL).
  7. Approximate distance of aerodrome from the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport.
  8. Status of ownership.
  9. Visual aid(s) available.
  10. Other information or limitations relevant to the aerodrome.

OTHER NOTES:

  1. The following Airstrips/Airports are for DAYTIME USE ONLY, (except for the San Pedro Airport which is useable at night but subject to a special exemption for night operations issued by the Honourable Minister responsible for civil aviation).
  2. There is no dedicated fire cover at these aerodromes.
  3. These aerodromes are uncontrolled aerodromes.  No navigational aids, meteorology or air traffic control services are available. The Common Broadcasting Frequency 122.8 MHz is mandatory.
  4. There is a strict weight (MTOW) restriction for aircraft desiring to operate at any of these aerodromes. Almost all aerodromes are restricted to aircraft with MTOW not exceeding 12,500 lbs. This is monitored by the Department of Civil Aviation.
  5. Operators/Pilots desiring to fly to any private aerodrome must obtain permission from the owner of the aerodrome prior to proceeding to this aerodrome.
