To most yachts petrol will only be available only in Belize City and Placencia. The petrol station in Punta Gorda has closed down. For those yachts with a shallower draft, petrol would also be available in Caye Caulker and San Pedro. —
In Belize City the most convenient place to pickup petrol is at the Radisson Fort George Marina, Cucumber Beach Marina or a the petrol station located at the foot of the pier of the commercial dock.
In Placencia send the tender up in the inside the lagoon.
In Punta Gorda the Puma Gas Station is located just south of the Customs Pier. Puma has a big sign on their pier which can easily be seen from off shore.
Effective 9th December, 2013 the current pump prices for fuel in Belize City is
US$4.87 per usg for regular gasoline 27th February, 2020
US$4.92 per usg for diesel (No 2) – 27th February, 2020
Prices are normally more expensive outside of Belize City due to freight charges.
