The local Belikin beer comes only in glass bottles.
Due to high import duties, imported beer and liquor in general is considered a bit expensive and is something we normally recommend to yachts to stock up on prior to their arrival.
For example the DUTY PAID price for a case of Heineken will run you about US$37.00 – 24 x 8¾oz. The only imported beers available in Belize are Heineken and Red Stripe.
Beers such as Miller, Coors, or Corona are not available on a duty paid basis.
There are very good prices on DUTY FREE liquor but only upon sailing – DUTY FREE and in case lots.
