The ground handler will first need to obtain approval for the helicopter to fly in Belizean airspace prior to vessel’s arrival with helicopter.  Ideally the ground handler would like to have three working days for this.

In order to present the helicopter’s application with the relevant local authorities the ground handler will require the following to be emailed or faxed to him.

  • Worldwide Insurance Certificate
  • Air Worthiness Certificate
  • Registration Certificate
  • Copy of Pilot’s License
  • Copy of Pilot’s Medical Certificate
  • Copy of Pilot’s Passport main pages
